  .: NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALE--COMING SOON!!
Neighborhood Garage Sale!! (Now extended to October 5th)

Get ready for it. September 17th through the 28th October 5th will be the Homeschool Buy Neighborhood Garage Sale. Gather up the stuff you've been wanting to get rid of, and sell it in our Neighborhood Garage Sale. Also be prepared to find some great bargains from other members, selling their stuff. We'll be making special stores available FOR FREE, to use for your Garage Sale. Plus we'll have a special page to list (with links of course) all of the participating Garage Sales.

How to set up your Garage sale.

If you don't have an account already, you'll need to register and set one up. Once you have an account, log in, go to "Preferences" then "Store" and set up the store but make sure next to "Choose Account Type" you choose "Garage Sale".

Once your store is set-up and activated, start listing items to sale, and make sure when it asks...

Choose where you will want to list your item...

...you select "Both" to make sure your items go in both your Garage sale as well as the auction at large. That way when the Garage sale ends on September 28th, any items still listed will continue to be listed on the site, just not in the Garage Sale.

As you add items, pay close attention to any options that include fees. There is no listing or any end of auction fees to list Homeschool items, but some of the extras (such as Front Page Featured, Bold, Category Featured, etc...) have small fees attached.

The Garage Sale stores will not be accessible until the morning of the 17th, but you can prepare now by gathering up those things you'll want clear put of your curriculum closet. Unfortunately we won't be able to have lawn chairs, lemonade and home-baked cookies, but if you really want to get into the spirit, you could still turn off your air-conditioner, sit at your computer in a lawn chair and make cookies and lemonade for your kids. It'd almost be like the real thing.
